ABOUT US
FIRST KIDS IS A MINISTRY FOCUSED ON CHILDREN IN 1ST-6TH GRADES! WE DESIRE TO HELP CHILDREN INCREASE THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF WORSHIP, DEVELOP BIBLE KNOWLEDGE AND HELP OTHERS.
OUR GOAL IS THAT ALL CHILDREN WILL HEAR, KNOW AND DO GOD’S WORK AND LEARN TO APPLY THESE IN THEIR DAILY LIVES. WE WANT CHILDREN TO BE ALL THAT GOD CREATED THEM TO BE!

WEDNESDAYS: *ALL WEDNESDAY EVENING ACTIVITIES BEGIN AT 6:30PM
MISSION FRIENDS - IN ROOM 440
3 year olds through Kindergarteners will engage in cultural activities and learning experiences relative to different Missionaries and the places around the world where they serve.
BIBLE DRILL TEAM - IN UPSTAIRS ADULT ED ROOMS
For 3RD through 6TH graders who are committed to memorizing scriptures and key passages! In addition to hiding God’s Word in their hearts, team members also gain understanding of the Bible books and how they fit into God’s Story and can locate them in the Bible. In the Spring, team members who are 4th - 6th grade will participate in a church drill with the opportunity to advance to associational and state drills.
CHILDREN IN ACTION - IN ROOM 430
1st through 6th Graders engage in cultural activities and learning experiences relative to different Missionaries and the places around the world where they serve. Each week they will explore how they too can be “on mission.”

9:45AM - BIBLE STUDY
11AM - CONTEMPORARY SERVICE

FIRST KIDS LIVE! - IN ROOM 320
Kindergarten through 6TH graders will learn ways to use their speaking and singing voices in praising God and will host a year-end program for the church. Meets each Sunday from 6PM-7PM.
OUR PRESCHOOL MINISTRY EXISTS TO PARTNER WITH PARENTS IN NURTURING THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR YOUNGEST CHILDREN!
WITH THIS PURPOSE IN MIND, WE OFFER SPIRITUALLY NOURISHING EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES OF PRESCHOOLERS. IT IS OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE A CLEAN, SAFE, AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY CAN LEARN AND THRIVE!

JENNIFER BURNUM - MINISTER OF CHILDREN & FAMILIES
Jennifer has served the Lord in a variety of ways including working with all ages on multiple church staffs, camp ministry, homeless and emergency assistance, houseparenting and missions. She is married to Randy and their son Jacob is attending Texas A&M University and studying aerospace engineering (Class of '28). Jennifer enjoys being outside exploring, learning new things and cooking in her spare time.
